January 31st Supermoon, Blue Moon, Total Lunar Eclipse!

Wow, we are starting off this new year with some powerful and loving celestial energies coming through to all of us! First the January 1st Full Moon and now we will have another one in the same month on January 31st! Anytime we have two full moons in one month, the second one is called a Blue Moon. To add to that energy, the 31st moon is also a SuperMoon PLUS on the 31st it will also be a Total Lunar Eclipse! That is a whole lot of good energy in one day! At these times, I love to make Crystal Lunar Water. It is very powerful and I use it as the base for all of my Aromatherapy Mists I create! Here is the simple recipe for you to enjoy:

Crystal Lunar Water

You will need:
1. One Lemurian Seed Crystal and one Angelite crystal or tumbled stone (use your intuition on this as sometimes other stones would like to lend their energies too.)
2. A Clear Glass bottle with screw top or cork: one that at least holds 4 to 6 cups. *Note: make sure your crystals will fit in the opening.
3. Pure Spring Water

On the night of the full moon place all of the crystals you will be using in your Lunar Water within your hand. Close your eyes and visualize them being cleared and purified by pure white light, see them glowing in your mind’s eye. When you feel ready, pour the water into your bottle and gently drop in the crystals you would like to use. Place this bottle in an area of your backyard, balcony or even front porch that will be exposed to the light of the moon. I like to add flowers and additional crystals surrounding the bottle for additional Nature energy. I then call on my Guides, Angels and Nature Devas to help empower the water and infuse their loving energy along with that of the Moon. In the morning, I bring it in and store it for use in my products for all of you and myself of course.

Don’t forget to put out all of your precious crystals and stones in the moonlight the night of the full moon too! I do that every month on the full moon with my crystals to empower and clear them. You can truly feel the difference in your home the moment they are brought back in. Just make sure they are in a secure location where someone can’t walk off with your precious treasures!

Lastly, If you love your astrology tidbits as much as I do, then this is for you too; the Full Moon on the 31st will be in Leo, one of our Fire signs, and the Sun in Aquarius one of our Air signs! What this means is that you may feel drawn to start living your passions and your deepest dreams and desires. We may also feel a strong pull to start those beautiful creative projects we have put on the back burners and all those ideas you have swimming around in that beautiful mind of yours. We may start asking the question: “How can I be of service, how can I help to transmute some of this fear into love and service? The answer is simple actually; it is time for you to shine your light now is not the time to be timid and hold back on all the gifts you have to offer this world. Do what brings the most authentic joy to your life and be-come the “You” you were meant to be. YOU GOT THIS!

P.S. Just an update on the progress of my little shop grand opening; The Joy-Full Apothecary should be opening up on 31 January! What better date is there to have a grand opening then on the day of the Supermoon, Blue Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse!

Clearing Your Space for the New Year!

In today’s world one thing I feel very strongly about is making  time for ceremony in our daily lives. This simple act is a way for  us to re-connect to Spirit, especially at the start of a new year; it is wonderful to have a fresh start!  Taking back this sacred time for you each day will add so  much joy and meaning to your life and It does not have to be  complicated, just meaningful to you!

Take some time to set up a small little area where you can sit in  quite reverence. Maybe a small table could hold special photos  of  beloved deities, angels, or loved ones, add crystals, fresh  flowers for scent and connection to nature, some dried herbs in a  bowl for your smudge mix or a stick of my favorite, Palo Santo  wood. When you light the herbs or wood, be sure to say thank  you for all the blessings you have in your life. Do this for  yourself for one week and see how you feel, just 15 minutes  each  day can make such a difference!

Smudging, or Space Clearing, is an ancient and powerful cleansing technique used by many indigenous cultures throughout the world. This sacred ceremony calls on compassionate guides and the spirits of sacred plants and objects to drive away negative energies and restore balance and harmony to a person, home or space. Every being on Earth is energy, it is the same for every object and place of dwelling. Over time, emotional and psychic energies can gather and create disharmony, what is needed is a “Spiritual Spring Cleaning” to release and reclaim a peaceful, joyful, cleared and protected space and Spirit!

Smudging can be as simple as gathering a handful of dried herbs such as White sage, Juniper and Lavender, and placing them in a small seashell or fire safe bowl. One only needs to light the herbs allowing them to smolder and smoke to release their healing cleansing properties. Take a moment to infuse the sacred herbs and yourself with the loving, healing energy of the Great Spirit; Father, Mother, God. One of my favorite prayers is called “A Smudging Prayer:

May your hands be cleansed, that they create beautiful things.

May your feet be cleansed, that they might take you where you most need to be.

May your heart be cleansed, that you might hear its messages clearly.

May your throat be cleansed, that you might speak rightly when words are needed.

May your eyes be cleansed, that you might see the signs and wonders of the world.

May this person and space be washed clean by the smoke of these fragrant plants.

And may that same smoke carry our prayers, spiraling, to the heavens.

There are many ways to perform this rite. Here is a basic outline of performing a Space Clearing of the room and/or person you are about to spiritually cleanse. Feel free to omit or add anything you wish to make it personal and meaningful to you. Intention is so very important and will make this ceremony even more powerful.

• Prepare your body, mind and Spirit by  for protection or simply call upon your Angels & Guides for their protection.
• Open the windows of the premises so the energies have an outlet to return to Source for transformation.
• Say a prayer and offer your gratitude to the Four Directions.
• Invite the presence and assistance of Spirit, the Angels & your Guides
• Gather Herbs or Sage Wand and place in fire safe dish or bowl-empower with love and light.
• Light the herbs while offering a prayer of gratitude for their energies. Allow the herbs to smolder while gently fanning the smoke with your hand or a feather around yourself, then the person or premises.
• Light a white candle in the room and give thanks for the clearing.

The Start of a Beautiful New Year...

Wow, 2018 is here, 2017 was a wild ride with lots of changes on so many levels! Luckily I embrace change-change is necessary for things to move forward and for one to grow, but this is a lot all at once for anyone!

This year definitely has a different energy. For me, 2017 had a very hurried feel, as if there was alot to accomplish with only a short window to do it in, it was a time to clean house so to speak. In that year I actually did accomplish many things, I moved twice, changed jobs, and got married to my Soulmate! Not bad for a years work!

 Now standing at the precipice of 2018, I feel that same sense of urgency to get to work, but also that it is a very spiritual time, a sacred time, a time for deep inner exploration combined with a longing to connect deeply to the Divine Source. What an amazing time we live in...what an honor to be part of this elaborate and Divine dance we call life. Enjoy it, savor each moment, learn, grow, stand in your own truth and never let anyone tell you that you don't matter! YOU SO MATTER!!

Trusting Your Heart...

Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. I know…I know, I have said this before, but we really are living in such an amazing time, so many of us have awakened to our true purpose here upon this Earth and it is truly my pleasure to take my place amongst all the other Lightworkers here.

My calling and greatest passion in this life is teaching, there is no greater reward for me than being of service to others. I often tell my students that this step is only the beginning and that this journey is not always easy, it can be difficult and painful at times as one is starting the process of releasing past pains, fears and emotions. It can be lonely at times as some find it hard to stay with certain loved ones or friends because they have changed and grown while the others have stayed the same. It can be hard to find like-minded people along the journey, and they feel a longing to be with others that now think as they do. The Ego will kick into over drive and tell you that you are not good enough, smart enough, you don’t have the right experience, you don’t have enough money, to walk this path…well I am here to tell you that you have all of this and more. You are a Divine Child of this Universe, you are good enough, smart enough, you already have all the experience you need within your heart to fulfill this mission, and you have the abundance of the entire Universe in the palm of your hand, all you have to do is TRUST!

Trust that all your needs will be provided for, it may sound like the hardest thing to do, especially in these times, but my dear ones…like attracts like, that is the universal law. If you wake up and say to yourself that “I don’t have enough money to take that course” you will not, these are self fulfilling prophecies, not the work of an outside influence. Your thoughts, words, actions, become your manifestations. We all have the opportunity every morning when we wake up to have either a beautiful day or a bad day, it is our attitude that changes everything around us. When we make a conscious effort to see the love in everyone and everything-that is what we will see. I share this with you now because I want you to know that I have been there and I am telling you from my heart that this journey is worth every moment, every tear, every pain, because the joyful, happy, knock your socks off amazing moments, far out-weigh them all.

You will have many teachers along this path and I always tell my students that I am just one of their many, but I am standing up now to say “I don’t have all the answers”, all I can do is speak from my heart and share with all of you my experiences and what I have learned thus far, if what I share or teach feels good to you in your heart then wonderful! And if something that I say does not feel right in your heart, that is fine too, release it, just let it go! It will not offend me as I am so proud that you are living your truth! This is how it should be with every teacher or person you have along your journey of learning, you are always in control of your life and that includes choosing what to take into your heart and mind.

This is where the amazing part begins, when after you have taken many classes on all the wonderful healing modalities out there, and you start to feel comfortable with all that you have taken in, you start to make it your own! You start to create your own healing techniques based upon all you have learned! It becomes a recipe; your recipe, and let me tell you…it is beautiful. I wish all of you, my students, my friends, my brothers and sisters, a beautiful and sacred journey. Listen to your heart, the place that is connected to the Divine, and you will never go wrong.
